Job Summary:

As a Tower Technician, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of rigging equipment on communication towers. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the success of our projects.

  1. Assemble, climb, and install rigging equipment on towers.
  2. Perform daily inspections of rigging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  3. Select appropriate cables, ropes, pulleys, and related equipment for securing overhead structures.
  4. Safely attach loads using grappling devices such as slings, wires, ropes, and chains.
  1. Assist the foreman as directed and actively participate in on-the-job training.
  2. Collaborate with on-site personnel and promote a positive and cooperative work environment.
  3. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
  4. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  1. Proficiency in rigging techniques is highly desirable.
  2. Willingness to learn and adhere to climbing, rigging, safety, and company procedures.
  3. Comfortable working at significant heights.
  4. Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  5. Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  1. Demonstrated aptitude in following written and verbal instructions.
  2. Competence in operating various hand tools.
  3. Punctual and consistent attendance in accordance with the work schedule.

Education and Experience:

  1. High School Diploma
  2. 1 year of construction experience

Physical Requirements:

  1. Physical agility, including the ability to bend, kneel, climb, and squat, with a full range of motion.
  2. Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
  3. Comfortable working at significant heights.
