Tower Climber Foreman

Tower Climber Foreman Job Duties but not limited to:

  1. Supervises field crew members / directs work.
  2. Assembles / climbs / hangs rigging equipment on towers.
  3. Perform daily inspections on rigging equipment.
  4. Selects cables, ropes, pulleys, capstans, blocks and slings to fixed overhead structures.
  5. Attaches load with grappling devices, such as slings, loops, wires, ropes and chains to shackles and crane hook and/or load line.
  6. Assist with work as directed by foreman.
  7. Participate in on-the-job training with on-site personnel.
  1. Work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  2. Exhibit positive, cooperative, courteous behavior with customers, businesses and co-workers.
  3. May direct workers engaged in hoisting machinery and equipment.
  4. Provide technical and consulting support.
  5. Assist with work / employee training as directed by management.
  6. Complete required paperwork (time cards, expense reports, service reports, etc.).
  7. Maintain OSHA safety standards.

Employment Standards:

  1. Proficient Rigging Preferred.
  2. Ability to learn and perform climbing / rigging and safety and company work procedures.
  3. Must be able to climb a 300 ft. vertical tower.
  4. Ability to work in high elevations.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  1. Planning, organizational and analytical skills.
  2. Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  3. Ability to bend, kneel, clime, and squat. Have full range of motion.
  4. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. unassisted.
  5. Ability to operate hand tools.
